Adblue delete

Slight exaggeration there perhaps!!!!

That's very worst case scenario.. we all know most drivers haven't had a problem come mot time.. there's always a way around these types of things and it always helps when your friendly with a couple of mot testers 😉 😜
A side order of grease-the palm corruption to go with the illegality. Bravo! Lets descend to third world practices.

Oh my tank is running low now wheres that red diesel!

:( I sincerely hope I haven't got all of this to look forward to. 6 weeks in and I'm loving my 220d AMG line. Adblue has 4000 miles to go. All the little gremlins have been solved by the people who sold it to me and it's now perfect.

To those making jokes on who's reputable.. I would say a well known modification firm based on armoury road, small heath are quite reputable aren't they??

BTW, don't forget that modifications need to be declared to your insurer. Illegally modifying your car often has a domino effect. The car becomes unroadworthy and has undeclared modifications, each of these on its own are sufficient for the insurer to invalidate your motor insurance policy, which in turn means that you've committed the criminal offence of driving whilst uninsured... all in a 'worst case' scenario, obviously.
You wont be able to get insurance with those mods...they wont insure an illegal car.

As the old saying goes, one man's reputable firm is another man's notorious gang of bandits.

Surprisingly, some members on here claimed that they declared it to their insurer and got away with it. Which should be taken with a pinch of salt, I think.

Interesting. Wonder if they'll add this at some point in the future ...
Not without a rolling road test. NOx is only prevalent in conditions of high load so the engine has to be under load to test the actual NOx output.

You still never hear on the forums that “my car with no dpf or with an adblue delete “ has failed an MOT test .
I think until that happens people will go for the cheapest option to keep their expensive cars on the road .

The funny thing is that most people with AdBlue problems most likely bought a Diesel car in the first place because "they're cheap to run".....

Absolutely, then adblue tank/sensor, Nox sensors arise all amounting to £1k each . But as we know most people don’t know anything about cars , so they have been hoodwinked by the dealers selling them costly and unsuitable vehicles .
Thats why they resort to cheaper fixes ?

One of the reasons I bought the diesel Mondeo as a taxi is because it's Euro 6 and no adblu. 😎

I suppose we should count ourselves lucky that we have on this forum so many experts in EV technology and the national grid.....

Hearing from a mate of mine that some people in his industry (fairly remote construction) went away from towed compressors over to diesel vans that have custom built in compressors that require the van engine to be running (think ice ceam van on steroids) . He mentioned that they have 'issues' with the adblue system after a while because the engine is idling/light load for ever and dont like it .

My guess is that there is little time for re gen 🤷‍♂️

Not true....The MOT test centre down the road fail cars with no DPF or cat all the time.
Its too much of a risk not to. The ministry send in cars under fake names all the time with faults to check them out. Pass a car that should have failed and they could lose their licence,...and since hes MOTs only that would be bad news!! I think you would need to be on first name terms with the tester for them to risk it now days. You will always get some that will pass any old crap though......up to them.
EGR and adblue deletes cant be tested for if its just been mapped out....so you are OK there.
At the end of the day this kit is fitted to cars for a reason.....BECAUSE ITS THE LAW......so if you get caught without it and get the £1000 fine or they void your insurance after a crash then I have no sympathy for you.
