How easy is it to add a d2b Bose amplifier to my CLK fitted with Comand?

Will my normal CLK speakers work OK and are the connections the same as the speaker outputs on the back of the Comand? i.e. is is it virtually plug and play?

Thanks and happy new year!

If you don't have any bose components in your car already then you're probably looking at a complete speaker and wiring replacement. Would be easier and cheaper to fit aftermarket components IMHO :)

Thanks for reply but why would I have to replace the speakers? Does the Bose amp not work with the standard MB speakers?

standard MB speakers are cr*p :D well OK not cr*p but not that good. If you put an amp in you'd blow them so you need higher grade speakers to handle the power of the amp.

Often just upgrading the speakers gives a big improvement without the need for an amp and you can then work back from that to put an amp in if you then need one. Simply get speakers that can take the higher output.
