It has been an irritating factor of UK/US marketing for as long as I can remember - which is no little and quite some..
But in this case, if you need CS 3 then you are probably prepared to pay. I would buy off EBay.com in this case.

There are others at varying prices. This is the consumer side of globalisation.

If you don't need everything in CS3, Photoshop Elements will do around 95% of what stanard Photo'p. I think I paid about €49.

I've never bought UK priced software. I get mine from a UK company that gets original OEM software from the US with a huge saving. The downside so they say is that the software is not supported if anything goes wrong, in 20 or so years i've never had to call one! Rip-off Britain and they wonder why Piracy is so rife worldwide
