I'm 25 but I had my first merc when I was 17, an e200 an S reg not sure what model that is then I had two more e class one was a 1986 I think on a C reg and the other was a J reg they both looked pretty similar though. But now I'm getting another merc, I'm picking it up this week/next W126 420 SEL.

69 and on to third Merc. Bought the first one in my late fifties and am now a committed Merc fan after after owning an eclectic mix of cars from a Nissan Almera to an Armstrong Siddeley Hurricane: plus a bike or two, including a Vincent Black Shadow. When I bought my latest car (a B 200 CDI) a few weeks ago it was a bit disconcerting to note that I was about the youngest customer in the showroom!

25 when I got my license brought w202 2.5, crashed it brought a ford (hated it) rebuilt the w202, then brought w203 injector problems (new ones come tomorrow) but just brought a w211 Estate as have three kids now lol ! my dad loved the w202 and still has it, she's a keeper never gave me any problems. Am now 30

Hello all.

I realized I was getting old all of a sudden and didnt want anyone saying I was having a mid-life crisis, so a few months ago, just before I turned 39 I bought my first Mercedes.

After lots of research and looking around I purchased a CL 500 W215 2001.
Its a silver automatic 5ltr V8 with all mod-cons that goes like a rocket!

I love driving it, it always makes me smile!

That is until I have to get any work done on it or put some petrol in !!!!!

Seems to be a mix here... 23 - First w209. Never really thought that I'd end up with one, but after seeing it & taking it out for a drive, it swayed me.
