I had my Air Con recharged about 2 weeks ago and it has got warmer again. I originally took it to Kwik Fit and there print out said "No Leaks Detected" So i went back today.
A different guy looked at it this time and said my Low Pressure Valve Cap is missing and could have dirt in the valve. He recharged the system for me and again it said "No Leaks Detected" so he said if a valve is leaking the machine won't detect a leak from the valve whilst the machine is connected.
Once he disconnectted the machine he got a hand held leak detector. The High Pressure Valve near the front of the Radiator was no problem but when he put it near the Low Pressure Valve which is on the right hand side near the middle of the engine it detected a leak from the valve.
Kwik Fit spent about 2 hours on it today with no further charge and have told me to go to a Air Con Specilaist/Car Electrical place down the road, The Kwik Fit guy phoned them and explained all he had done, so I've got to take it in the morning.
On the below diagram I can see the High Pressure Valve (Item 110) but I can;t see the Low Pressure Valve ? THe High Pressure Valve is about £7 , I'm hoping the Low Pressure Valve is about the same price and it's a easy swop and a Re Gas is all thats needed !!
THanks For Any Advice Guys!!

The dealer said the Low Pressure Valve is part of a £140 Pipe!!
I've got a pic below and it looks like it screws off on a thread, a 17mm spanner fit's onto the valve. It's on the righthand side of the engine, left of the Washer Bottle
I'm thinking of maybe getting one from a breakers now
Any Ideas ?

Please PM me with your Email address and I will send you the lay out,, the bit that you are after may have a different name

A vehicle air-con business should be able to supply the correct valve and fit it.

THe air con specialist was goin to take my chassis number and contact Mercedes to source the part. I said I'll sort the part then get back to him.
The Main Mercedes dealer have told me it's part of a pipe costing about £140.
The High Pressure Valve is available separate for about £7 so why isn't the Low Pressure Valve available for similar?
