I have a fault on offside front suspension leg I have airmatic suspension that works fine the strut dampens as it should I took to mercedes dealer who charged about £200.00 but could but find fault and would need further investigation.
So I took my car to a local garage that had been recommended by other mercedes owners they traced the fault to valve that was giving an incorrect reading thus making warning message to come on a replacement leg is £1000.00 give or take a few pounds and then labour on top of that.
As I said it works fine so my question is this does any one know of a way to disconnect the warning wiring going to that leg
I have E220 CDI elegance estate
Cheers
