To any owner in the North-East, upon a recommendation by another Mercedes owner I have recently had the 15 hole alloys off my 1987 R107 refurbished and what a super job the company doing the work have made.
The wheels were very good to start with but as I was having new tyres fitted I thought I would go ahead and get them done. The cost for the four wheels, new valves, existing tyres removed, new ones fitted and balancing was £190.
The procedure consists of acid stripping, powder coating and finishing to a flawless finish, turnaround was 4 days.
The company is "Stella Blast and Powder" situated on the Stella Gill Industrial Estate near Chester-le-Steet, the man to ask for is Drew.
