I don't want to sound like a whinging fart, but am i being petty?

My CLC is just over 1 year old, thus still in warranty and the drivers side seat belt has become a bit of an annoyance.

When taking the seat belt off, it won't fully retract, so when i get out of the car and shut the door the seat belt is either getting trapped, or, worse the buckle is slamming against the door, which has caused a few scratches.

I know its such a minor thing, hence the topic title, but could i get the dealer to look at this and fix it under the warranty?

I'm not one that likes to moan at relatively insignificant things, but it's just getting a bit annoying. I know i could easily check every time i get out and 'help' the seat belt retract, but, well, i just forget more often than not.

I know exactly what you mean.

On the first day i got the car, i broke the speaker cover on the drivers side.

The belt didnt retract properly and it jammed in between the doors.

Im sick to death of it now. Had a go at MB and they said they would replace the cover. Done that and two weeks later it happened again.

I have lost count of the amount of times i have slammed the door, and the belt buckle has been stuck in between the doors.

Ridiculous.

Everytime i get out of the car i make sure i retract the belt myself, and people that come into my car all know to do the same on their side!!
