Am I Getting Old?

I can't think who the target audience is, by the time an individual reaches the age that they can buy and insure one they should have matured enough to choose something more grown up.

UK won't be the target market the particular model. I would imagine other countries, the Far East springs to mind, where parents finance their kids cars and insurance cost is negligible compared to the price of the vehicle.

Looks like the Limited mugen edition of the fn2. This time however the Civic has the right level of power to compete in its division.

Not my tastes but lots of the Japanese scene lovers will be all over it.

It needs more exhausts, and a larger rear spoiler. :D

Is DRS now available on road cars ?

It's got UK plates on.

In the unlikely event of the spoiler actually generating any downforce, it looks like it would be applied behind the rear wheels, thus tending to lift the driven front wheels off the ground.

Lose the bolt on rear spoiler, drop down to twin exhausts and it would look a reasonable ST rival. It will have reliability on it's side, so probably better than all it's rivals despite it's vulgar design!

While its not a car for me, i can say though top marks for Honda in saying, "go on then, lets put that into production" - so many concept cars look radical and then get scaled so far back for the real world.

Good on them, horses for courses and all...

ps.. the insurance and target market - no idea who would want one...

@Deane - I have to disagree with the impreza comment though... you cant say a perfect non abused P1 would be a welcome additional to the dream garage fleet ? :-)

no thanks ,thank god it's gone ,, can't wait for all the old ones to go too With the delinquent drivers

You lot are being terribly culturally insensitive, that is a pure masterpiece in many a persons eye - the very same persons Daimler are targeting!

Spot on. If that Honda had an MB badge - with AMG - there are a couple of dozen forum members would be wetting themselves. The fact is, it's probably a better car...

For me? It's hellish!

Or does this look like the biggest load of crass-barryness seen, since the Halfords Rinspeed stock clearance bargin bin?

I would actually feel embarrased driving down the road in that.

Maybe im just becoming old.

A monstrous catastrophe of a car. A plasticky fantastical nightmare parody of a car and a chav wagon of the first order.
On the plus side, at least it would easy to find in the car park…all those people standing around pointing and laughing :D

Well i must be more of a rally fan than you then. That along side a couple of Group B cars would be ideal.

Its not about the stereotype of the owners.

Ageist young whipper snappper!

Oops that should have been to the old codger comment!!!! :fail

Hell, you lot are being very hard on the CTR. By all accounts it's pure awesome to drive with an engine to die for. Sure the wing & exhaust are OTT but knowing Honda they're both engineered to work. If I was in my twenties or early thirties again I want it and not a Golf R or similar. Hope Honda sells loads of them.

FWD cars dont need rear wings tho, if anything it makes their performance worse by lifting the front.

Try telling that to the BTC drivers (300bhp odd, just like this Civic) also too I can't believe for a split second Honda decided to stick a wing on rear just as a marketing purpose. And from my very basic knowledge if the majority of the weight is at the front then something is needed to keep the rear from going light.
