AMG Private number plates

AMG 5L is for sale at £350,000

From DVLA's site

You can pay the £105 then pay £25 every year you keep it retained. If you pay £155 for 3 years and put it on a vehicle after a year, there is no refund

Good to know, I didn't realise you could pay £25 annually.

Yes, SPX, that's the one. Shines up nicely doesn't it! So much so I'm wondering if I can bring myself to let it go now...

I used to laugh at people with car-appropriate number plates. Then some dear friends gave us AMG 123T as a wedding gift...

The car we have it on has been sorn'd for ten years.

I tend to keep my mouth closed on the subject now!

Perfect for someone with a W123 AMG estate !

Jay ?

I think my Number Plate, says everything I have on the subject ;)

Why go for an AMG plate, when you can stick two fingers up and the world and say something else, err less classy instead :D

Yep once it's on retention, it's £25 a year. Once you have the certificate, get it registered online on DVLA's site and you can do the renewal online as well.

I have a plate on retention and get an email a few weeks before it is due to expire

About three years ago I came upon an old red Ford Fiesta on the M5 with the reg no: ABC 123! I couldn't believe I would ever see a plate like that. I wonder what price that would achieve?

Like everything in life, it is only worth what someone will pay for it and if no one wants it, its worthless!

I suspect these number plate people advertise these plates at silly prices to see if someone wants it and then they will try and acquire it at a far lower price than they advertise it at
