mm thanks Tim    :D eta - OMG what a faux pas - see if anyone else can spot it :o

Glad you made it and sorry - only just got your PM :o

My guests have just left and I think a good time has been had by all for a change. The Sloe Gin was popular  Played a few rounds of Jenga with onelasting how many was it Matt? Oh yes - one brick!! But another that seemed to go on forever. Matt did a wonderful job at being mr DJ with the iPodfor most of the evening. The restaurant did good again. The food was great tonight.

Thank you to all for the lovely gifts. I can see another gathering being required to get rid of some of it. Not the lovely bottle of bubbly Brian brought - thats mine all mine

But the most important thing is that my lovely Eeyore is home for Christmas :D :D There are photos which will make it this way I'm sure.

Was as shame that some couldn't make it - you were missed.

A massive thanks to all for coming it was a great night. It never ceases to amaze me the dedication that some show in making these social events so special. The distances that some people are willing to travel and for more new faces to become part of our little clan.

Thank you all again for helping to make this Christmas a really special one.

Love you all

xx

As you all can see, Pammy just wore jewellery......... :D

P.S. The faux pas was the same necklace as last year   Pammy, how could you!

Im still trying to work out what the faux pas is...mmm the only thing I can think of is theres only one knife on the table. Everything else is socially acceptable to me.

Have to say didn't realise that Pammy was such a stunner.

Finger food by and large - messy but no cutlery needed :o :o (well I call it finger food :D )

The camera lies so very well :D :D :D but thank you :D

Mrs. G and I had a great time! Good to meet people and put faces to names, witness Emmas hangover from the night before, see Pammy wipe a tear from the corner of her eye, observe that Last Minute was true to his nom de plume (arrived late...) and that Malcom is a even nicer bloke than you all know (will not embarass him, but thanks Malcolm!)

But a special thanks to Pammy for organising the event. :bannana: :bannana: :bannana:

A sometimes thankless task that she carried off with a plum (Mrs. G made me put that instead of aplomb :D )

P.S. A Skoda in Harrogate - whatever next?!!

Looks like a good time was had. Shame I couldn't have made it:(

Indeed it was :(

As for the Skoda - well it was balanced out by the range of Mercs   But it was the Baleno that was more worrying :D :D  But I think we got away with it - this time  :D

I must also say - the dogs were in their element - so mich attention to be had :D so thak you all for putting up with them - especially when they get a bit noisy :D

Glad to see you got your fleabag back too.
Is he going back in Edna, or are you locking him away for a while?
Actually, I'm surprised he wasn't donkeynapped again last night.
BTW, have you checked all your others are still where they were:devil:

He's staying safe where I can see him - although he was temporarliy kidnapped again last night:rolleyes:

As far as I know - nothing is missing but this is me so anything's possible  I've checked both dogs are still present and was disppointed to find they are

Thanks for the great night Pammy. I would also like to thank those who came mega miles to be here. Food as usual was good. Company excellent. Steve you just have to post that pic of Pammy's damp eyes :D:devil:. Oh and Mrs W says you have a lovely house. So next up is the annual pilgrimage.

Thanks for another cracking get together and it was nice to see a few more new faces :D .

Cheers Pammy for arranging it and for Ray and Terese for getting us there and back.

Dave & Chris.

We are still having the canine third degree here. A case of "how dare you touch other dogs". Toby will get over it.........eventually :o

I can well imagine. Picture it when two are searching out the interloper!!

Still here on the hotels computer and maybe staying a second night but not sure yet......

Off to do some shopping for the family and going to the tea rooms too...

It was great to put some names to faces at last.

Thankyou all for your hospitality.

(Emma is ok now)

:bannana: A top night! Great venue, better company!

Pammy - thanks for organising it, you star!

Great to meet you guys, thank you for making us feel so welcome. Good to put names to real faces or should that faces to real names??

Jenga -DJ Matt clearly is no Jenga king, mind you Malcolm isn't much better and as for Brian - there's no hope in the World Jenga Championships IMHO!

Nice valve caps Malcolm - he really is a lovely chap, least of all because I was allowed to sit in the seat of his car (drivers side n all!) and enjoy a massage, a chat with his TV and CD player and move the seats back and forth! If only Scumbag hadn't parked behind it!!! Seriously nice car!

Looking forward to the next get together and seeing the crazy gang again.

Natalie
