The alloys being advertised are for a W211 and are a nice design if they were immaculate BUT the seller says that they are suffering from "MINIMAL" corrosion...

Could be a bargain for someone looking for a set of alloys for their W211 as NO RESERVE and a refurb would need doing which could probably be all done for around £200 or just under...

"S - Class (both 129 & 220 models)"

Doesn't he mean 140?
They won't fit the s-class at all. They will fit the 129 and 230 SLs though.

Looking at the dimentions, I think they should fit w124's as well.

Personally I don't like the design much, but that's me....
:)

Good spotting Flash,
Mercedes-Benz policy now is to replace wheels that are corroded with new stock.

I wonder if these have been taken out of the skip???

Buy,
Put on car, claim for new set under warranty???

Who said that?

John

He/she has only got 18 hours left before they cannot cancel the listing! So with no reserve after that, someone could pick up a bargain! Once a bid is placed, he/she cannot then change it to a reserve price auction without cancelling it first! Go-on someone bid 99p for them;)

This is a relist of a recent auction so I suspect they were pulled before the end.

I won a set of alloys on ebay for a tenner, but the guy emailed me and said he couldn't give them to me for that price....... I didn't bother giving feedback, but was a bit miffed.Thats what reserves are for!
