Hi All, apologies if i'm covering old ground but i cant seem to find an answer (i have looked on lots of forums)
I have the glowplug warning light staying on longer than normal, and the cold starts are taking ages now (10 seconds or so)
I have read lots about changing the plugs when the engine is hot etc, and using correct tools which i am going to buy (along with the correct plugs - BERU i believe.
I have the W211 2006 E320Cdi V6 - from what i have read the process of changing the glowplugs in the inline 6cy engine is pretty straight forward - but in the V6 most of the plugs seem to be well covered by the intake piping.
Can anybody show or tell me exactly what needs to come off (other than the engine cover) to get good access to the glowplugs.
I should add that i have had my diagnostic kit on and it looks like 3 of the plugs are not playing ball - so i am going to change them all as i have no history of when they were last changed and the odo reads 113,000.
Thank you in advance.
