MB C180k saloon with beige interior. The seats are part anthrax. I know, but forget the real name but it sounds a bit like that, and it's that woven type stuff. Anyhoo, wait at traffic lights and take a bite from a Mars Bar. Unbeknownst to me, a couple of crumbs of chocolate drop between my legs. (as they do). I don't see them of course until an hour later when i get home. "What's that on your bum?" asks the current wife. "Looks like chocolate". Too late. Busted. Ah, better check the car seat. Nooooooo!!! Removed the offending chockie from the seat but an hour later, there is a stupid big stain around where it was. I have bought some Autoglym interior spray stuff to see if it works. Watch this space, will report back when dry.

Fibber. You shat yourself, didn't you? All over the Artico.

If I had seats made of anthrax, spilling chocolate would be the least of my worries!

If the seats were Artico the chocolate would simply wipe off. Perhaps the OP means Dinamica (artificial suede)?

Undue care and attention..... When biting the mars bar always suck after break off to make sure falling bits of choccy don't leave **** stains on ya seats and trousers....lol

OK OK ...Artico ... I was nearly right. For the older members of this august forum, it looks a bit like Lloyds Loom, the woven stuff. The water ring has gone but it's still damp. Will report back when fully dry. (am on salads now)

On other seats I've always found it is better to clean the entire seat bottom and let it dry naturally. Save the water ring in one particular area.

Crumbs from a mars bar? Nah.

As per Allan above (as I have mixed fabric seats in the CLK) I always wash the entire seat to ensue no water marks. The upholstery foam cleaner works well (and on chocolate..... Who'd be a parent :wallbash:)

I read the title and thought you were selling tickets for a thrash metal concert.

Giving it at least 3 goes with Autoglym interior shampoo and using it ALL OVER the seat seems to have done the trick. Lesson learned.

If your seats are made from anthrax, I'd wear a face mask when cleaning them if I were you :D

Go an buy Halfrauds Interior Car shampoo... its amazing.. took ink out my chair effortlessly.. BUT be gentle with it..:thumb:
