I see this vehicle now and again in London:

Have never figured out what it's for - any ideas?

It has those roller doors / blue lights / floodlights all the way round (along with "KEEP CLEAR - 4 METRES" signs). The gentlemen in the front (about 5 of them?) wear dayglo waistcoats with lots of kit attached:

No big deal, just idle curiousity!

Mobile canteen consisting of Do-Nuts and coffee for when they get tired out from filling in forms and downloading data from the speed (cash machine) cameras
The guys in the jackets are their to ensure the PCOs dont get too pushy and allow the 6 real policeman left in London to get their do-nuts first

It's an undercover camper van for BTP cops on tour-Obviously!!

They might want to consider fitting more blue lights in case someone doesn't quite notice them.

There is ALWAYS something parked there whether it be a newspaper delivery van or a limo minicab. Since when did anybody take any notice of hatched boxes in London?
