Any Pagoda specialists on the forum?

I know he's dead. I wasn't referring to the man, but to the eponymous business.

If I booked my hols with Thomas Cook do you reckon I'd have to dig him up first or might I be referring to the business which carries his name?

I called the guys recomended by Howard and they were really helpful, as was Jay.

A few specific questions confirmed that the seller was not prepared to give any assurances whatsoever on the condition of the frame/chassis other than it had been plated in the past - told me I had to make a decision on the basis of the photos alone (Florida car). Although we had agreed a price incluyding shipping etc, this degree of unhelpfulness (he is after all a dealer on older Mercs) put me off. Shame really, however whilst it looked good value, it could also be a money pit and everything thats been said here about specialists is spot on. Mint cars go for silly money, and that because invariably thats what it costs to get them there.
