Anyone got KENWOOD KDC-BT8041U or an Alpine IDA-X300

Afternoon,

I am looking for a new head unit with :

ipod
Bluetooth Phone
Ideally Kenwood MASK type security - (Cannot find this)

Thus i am looking at the above options, and would like to hear from anyone with any experince with either head units.

Before I buy thought it wise to ask owners opinions.

I've got a ida x200 currently in my car.
I only use it with usb pendrives & multichanger though.

Thanks for reading all, in the end I went for the KENWOOD KDC-BT8041U, due to the other half not liking the Alpine styling. (£130 in the end)

The unit it very good and the phone reception is great. The knobs can be a bit fiddly, so the remote is used more than the adjustmnet on the head unit. Works well with external hard disk, have yet to try it with a ipod. I'm going to buy a large hard disk anyway and use that as the music store.
