Anyone know where the crossovers are ?

Sometimes on cheaper component speaker systems, rather than having a discrete crossover unit, an RC filter (a shrinkwrapped resistor and capacitor) acts as a very basic high pass filter for the tweeter. This is in-line with the speaker wires and are almost always run parallel off the mid terminals.
