the cold air feed pipe as i dont actually have one :)

I have the same engine squeezed into a 190 , it has the same air box as the pic above but no cold air feed at all just the opening of the box. There's not enough room to do a crossover pipe to the other side of the bay and I'm at loss where to put a pipe on the original side :(
 
The standard inlet is a slot at the off side of the radiator but if you have shoehorned in a wider radiator and changed the radiator side mouldings there may not be room.You might be able to fabricate a duct which draws air from below the bumper or maybe along slot under one of the lights. Problem might be ingestion of standing water- benefit would be an engine fed with nice cold air?
