Hi all
I was wondering if someone with a W202 could do me a favour and check whether they have a drain hole in the same place as me, or I have a missing grommet (which could lead to rot)!
Whilst changing the front brakes on my car (C43), I noticed that there is a 20mm hole inside the front, left/passenger-side wheel arch, in the metalwork between the wheel and the engine bay. Looking directly into the arch, its located to the right of the front spring, near the bottom of the metal work.
All other holes in that area have grommets in, so Im wondering if mine has gone missing (there has been work done in that area in the past). I dont want to cap it off and then find its a rainwater drain hole, but from reading around it appears that these are generally under the sills, rather than in the wheel arch.
Id be really grateful if anyone could have a look at their W202 - though I appreciate its not easy to see with the wheel still on
Thanks for any help!
