Apples and pears but not cider sadly

"...visibility, clearness of weather and performance on offer..." in no way justifies 110mph let alone what you say you would have done ...150mph.

Steve you've got to wise up this is just not clever. As a young guy who clearly loves cars and likes driving, YOU WILL KILL YOURSELF, I just hope nobody else does.

I had fleeting thoughts of that last Sunday when still accelerating to 165mph...on a private track, of course...;)

I think I recommended this when you wanted to sell on your E220.

Buy a cheap basic commuter car AND a week-end/track car.

You're clearly not getting enough thrills and spills in your E320. A Brabus kit will up the level a bit, where on modern roads will you use this extra performance?

Track days cost £100-150 plus the same again for wear & tear. It sounds a lot, but so is a depreciating £15k E320.

Playing the power/performance game on public roads is a poor substitute for getting on track.

edit: If you want to keep within the MB marque, buy Will's 190 2.5 16v for the week-end. I'm confident you'll find the driver involvement more interesting than a W211 :)
