April meet - up North

I think Me & the missus could be up for a Northern GTG .. especially if a) the A59 is clear b) Brian is not attending in his flying oil burner (grrr ) and c) Ray is showing off his new motor

Has it been decided how far North the northern meeting/gtg is going to be?
I will be there if its not too far from me.

erm- dunno - have been away for a few days and not thought much more about it other than to say this is a NORTHERN gtg - so no we won't move it daan sarf Pietre but all members are obviously welcome.

Open to ideas on where - but prob somewhere on a line between Preston and York that general vicinity.

If anyone has any ideas - please do share, in the meantime I'll try and have a think - also possible dates would be useful - bearing in mind this is looking to April.

Ahhhhhh the A59. I remember it well Nice gentle amble through the countryside. That was until Steve BCS started to play with Brian and MBZ6 scared the hell out of me when I thought there was no one behind me A Brabus up the bum is a very scary experience.

Right - been doing some thinking and me n hub's are up for making this a nice overnighter in a country pub in the Dales. Anyone else interested?

We could do a lunchtime meet then just go through to the evening as we wish. Lots of nice walking and driving to be had.

I'll find some possibles and put them up - then if ppl could say yay or nay to a stop-over I can get my negotiating head on.

Might even encourage those from further afield to join us?
