APS 50 nav help

Hi Guys
Picked up my beautiful 2005 E280cdi elegance today and am over the moon!
Ian at Wilding motors has done a superb job making a ten year old car like new, I can not recommend him enough.
Even fitted a new gps aerial and bought a new set of nav discs.
He tested the unit and it worked fine so I didn't think to check.
On my way home I was playing, like you do, and decided to try the nav.
BUT when it says select country and I pick GB or any for that matter and click OK it just goes back to the select country list again.
Doesn't matter which disc I use or country I select, it won't go past this stage.
Any ideas please?
ALL other functions work perfectly.

I'd probably pull the fuse for the COMAND for 1 minute. If you look under the panel at the driver's end of the dashboard, there is a small fusebox there which has the fuse map for the car in it. I think its one of the fuses in the main fusebox under the bonnet, but that map will tell you
