ATF: Flush or Change?

There's a stop arrangement molded into the circuit board carcass .
You have to be careful about buying the right on!
Example
The Sprinter applications and some cars use a tube style stop whereas others us a block type arrangement.
They are not interchangeable fro that reason.

I'v got one coming but as temp measure (just to see colour and smell) I used 1/8 dia length stiff plastic but there is nothing on the end when i pulled it back out! hoping its just snagging up and not hitting bottom cus if it is hitting bottom its dry

Hi Tuercas viejas. I'v drained off transmission and refitted the sump all be it not tight. couple bits i could do with help with:-
1 how important is it to put new screws in the sump as the one's I got are incorrect for my sump and they were nothing like the tightness I was expecting guessing its due to the rubber gasket.
2 The dipstick I have been sent is not the one the advertiser had photo of in the advert, when I push it in it reads 0 when stone cold and just shows on the end at 50deg, If I push the dip stick little further is feels as if its bending at the end and the ATF shows more at one side than the other which also again makes me think it is bending over, when i tryed it with no sump it is nowhere to be seen (I was expecting it to hit the sump itself). I have got 6ltrs out of the transmission and torque converter in total. so can put 6 ltrs back in just to get it running. hoping you can point me in right direction.

8NM are the torque settings. Always use new bolts.

Get a proper dipstick. Your local dealer can supply.

Ok all back together but fault remains so its stripped again and circuit board out of transmission sent to ecutesting for repair, any tips on what I should clean the valve block with to get clean and dry ready for reassembly?
