Auto Dimming Rear view Mirror for 203 C class

I've just had some electric gates fitted and the controller is the size of a small brick ! I dont want to leave it in the car for security reasons and its too big hanging off my car key fob.

I have seen MB RVM's somewhere with 3 buttons which I believe are for controlling such things as gates , garage doors etc.

First question is what is the part number for said RVM in Grey for my 203 Saloon

Second: How do you code the buttons to a particular receiver - I dont reallywant to be opening my neigbours garage door by mistake

Third, I presume the RVM with teh controller option would be auto dimming anyway, are there any other parts required for the controller buttons to work?

Fourth - Do they only work when the key is in the ignition - again for security reasons I would find it strange if it worked without the key.

As Graham pointed out, that is a RVM with integrated telephone mic AND homelink!

If so, is fitting any different to the standard auto dimming RVM? How much was it?

Do you happen to have the part number for the auto dimming and garage for the W202?

Am getting an Auto Dimming RVM for my W202 from a Berlin dealer, and saving about £20 (as some supermarket ad says: "every little helps") -- but I do have a mate in Berlin getting it for me and bringing it to London when he visits in May

programing is easy, just hold your original device close to the mirror, hold whatever button down on the mirror you want and then activate your original transmitter. Thats it.

Suppose thats not too bad.

Just the dimming one alone is about £200.

not entirely - but almost the full monty...the LED to light up the center console is missing (useless - I know - but that would make the mirror really full monty).
