My appologies if this has been mentioned before but I found this information on an American forum site and thought that it would be useful to pass on.
On the LHS of the glove box in my car there is an input socket that takes a jack the same size as a headphone jack on a MP3 player.
By using a stereo lead with a jack on either end, setting my MP3 player to line out and the head unit to aux I was able to play my MP3 through this.
You don't have any steering wheel control other than volume and any track selection must be done on the player itself but for the cost of a lead it's a relatively cheap solution.
Regards
Steve
