b-class audio system upgrade

Hi

I am going to pick up my B-Class next week, i have a question here about the audio system.

I've order a w246 just with standard Audio 20 CD (with 6 disc changer), is there a MOST bus system from the head unit? it's because i would like to enhance the audio system with external Amp by using mObridge M1000-M-DA2 Pre-amp. Thanks

I have to say I've been very impressed with my W246s speakers much better than the W245 we had.

Though I be interested how much this makes a difference without changing speakers

Hi Takk

As you have the CDC version, you have a MOST fibre port. Your "technology" is NTG4.5 in that car

However, the Mobridge does not support NTG4.5 systems.

You dont need the Mobridge box.

You can add an amplifier to the existing system as lots of amps these days take speaker level inputs.

Before I upgraded to full HK I had a Rockford Fosgate Punch 300 amp fitted to my B class with Morel component speakers. Very impressive.
