B Class Mic location??

Hello,

Just installing a new audio 20 unit in my b class and its all done and working and I have the phone mic extension cable at the head lining area but I can't find where the mic is?

I've spoken with comand and they are looking into it but still no answer back.

I want to get the car back together

I connected to the darn alarm sensers by mistake first!

I believe this is now fixed for you.

There are different implementations of where the mics are in the B class. Some had two mics some had additional mics in the roof lining. As discussed the car can be re-assembled and the mics sorted out thereafter.

Yes had a good chat with Richard (Great bloke) and when the little ones go to bed I will hopefully finish this off

Ok if anyone else does this what you need to do is on the loom from comand. Cut the plug off and join the white, green and screen together and then connect to the brown on the mic cable. The remaining brown cable on the comand loom goes to the white cable on the mic.

Sounds backwards I know but it then works. The plug on the comand loom is completely different to the mic plug on the B Class so just cut it and bin it.

Hope that helps anyone else doing this!
