Back in an old MB! 2000 CLK320

Hi all

It has been a while and I hope everyone is well!

Since my C230k w202 sold about 5 years ago I've finally got myself back into an 'old' MB...

CLK320 Elegance. Low owners and sensible miles. The most solid one I found and other than general sprucing up, doesn't really want for anything.

It's nice to be back!

That dirt on the wall makes it look like the car shape stopped you cleaning it all .

Looks a beauty, identical to mine bar the sun roof. Every now and then a nice one comes on the market, where did you find this one?

I didn’t notice how bad that wall is. May need to wash that too next time!

The car found me really… it become available due to the (sad) imminent ulez expansion and, without a friends intervention, was destined for scrap. Makes me feel sick really but many older people do not really know what way to turn if their cars are no longer suitable - and I bet many are binned without us realising.

So feel fortunate to have saved one and makes me question the green agenda even more (but that’s a convo for another time!)
