The last few days have been quite bad for me car wise! All 3 have problems of differing magnitudes
1, MONDEO GHIA TDCI ESTATE (not a MB i know)
Dropped it off the the local main dealer on Wednesday for a full service on Thursday, Phone call on Thursday to tell me it needed 2 new bulbs (£2 ish) New wiper washer pump (£85 ish) new rear shocker (£270!!) AND BY THE WAY OUR TECHNICIAN HAS CRASHED THE CAR!!!!!. Went and had a look and he's hit a post or a car and dented the front wing and scrapped the alloy and bumper............ I was told it would be ready Friday to collect, i said that i wanted it repaired properly with new parts,
Went to collect it on Friday and guess what........They had filled the wing I was not impressed and told them to do it properly.
2, 1991 500SL
Got back from the ford dealer on Friday, i had been enjoying using the SL as the mondeo was in the garage. I had taken the hardtop off during the week and really loved feeling the sun on my face and the wind through my hair. Anyway looked like rain last night so thought i should put the roof up........ Roof did not want to some up AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH never mind probably something simple?????? so reversed it up to the garage and put the hard top on. easier said than done the hardtop will not lock down the front had the rear has not I think its stuck!
3, A160 elegance only had this a week great little car with its comedy suspension and it pimp my ride looks (met graphite Grey and red leather) but the heated seats and the mirrors don't work they did because i was playing with the folding mirror (kids and there toys!)
It the week end I have a ton of work, i have 3 cars to fix and i don't know where to start.
Any one got any help of advice????
I will end on a positive note nothing drives better than a courtesy car
