The BAS/ASR warning light has come on and the ASR dashboard button does nothing, on the same day I reailsed that the cruise control not functioning at all.
Cannot find any fuses (front or rear) for either function, don't know what to do? Thanks in advance for any help.

The best thing to do it to get it plugged in to a diagnostic machine

Check your tyre pressures.

If one is very low it will confuse the ABS/Speed sensor which would throw ABS/BAS/EPS errors.

Cheers

If the bas/esp light is on the you lose anything that requires a road speed signal. eg cruise control, Vario roof on a convertable etc etc. The car should be code read , but on your car the usual things are brake light switches and front abs leads.

Before going too far, make sure the connections of the wheel speed sensors to the harness - and plug / socket of the ABS pump are clean and dry - use a water-chasing switch cleaner to make sure (I had the same problem and that's all it was)

9 out of 10 times it will be the brake light switch, but star would confirm that.

Changed the brake light switch and it has fixed it, the contact in the old one had broken. many thanks for all the help.
