battery alternator light visit workshop

hi all not sure if this is the right place to start but need help just got my first mer a b class cdi on a 55 plate this light keeps comeing on had it looked at by mb they cant fix it its had a new alternator and still comes on any help would be great

Did they run tests on the new alternator and the battery?

Hi the alternator was on the car when we bought it Helfords had fitted it mb saying it's ok but can't work out why the light keeps comeing on

Surprised a main dealer couldn't fix it.
