my mate Josh's mum has one of these in black but hers is a 280 SE , they have just had it fully restored (cost thousands), we went for a drive around in it the other day after polishing it up for her, and we just got sooooo many looks.. sitting in it (beige velour .....) is like sitting in the comfiest armchair ever.....

I've said it before, and i'll say it again, you just cannot beat these old school mercs for cool factor.....

It's as cool as they come. I had a 1979 280SE in this colour with 805k on the clock and it was still going strong. It was an eye magnet - people just stared when I was cruising down the street in her!!

Well he does have a reputation selling old Mercs, but how the hell did he sell the same car twice, for different amounts and get good feedback from both buyers ????
