Before I Put These On Ebay - What Are They

I have they are unnamed reps, 18" reasonable order with low profile nearly finished tyres. I was thinking of using them as winter wheels. Can't decide.

Sorry Ian we have been away - back yesterday, will PM you sunday

Hi DS,

It really does seem strange that no one can find a set of bolts to fit.

I had AMG copies on my last car , and needed a longer set for the back than the front ( the offset was different ) , i found this out to my cost when i put the front wheels onto the back and destroyed the brake shoes by using the long bolts ( they went too far into the hub and crushed the brake parts , locking the wheels ) ....

i did the exact same thing when putting my new inovit spin 18" on my w124 coupe

luckly local merc friend of mine had a spare set of springs at home and took 1.5 hours to do 1 side then 20 mins the other (a swine to do)

i use a spacer but its a set of 4 brabus ones and cost me just under £100 and are superb as they have a 10mm solid steel lip in the middle and are hub centric

no wobble even at over 70mph (shhh)

i found most places could not be botherd to help as there was no money in it for them

Just saw this thread... I used to have a set of aftermarket rims on the W202 that no merc dealership could findbolts for...

One day I went to a secondhand tyre dealer in Southall looking for a specific tyre model for my mothers old Audi 80 (Italian law, tyres need to be brand/model matched) and he had a set of similar tyres. I explained my conundrum, he asked me to bring the car in the day after.

It seems like it's not only the bolt size that was different, apparently, the bolt head was slightly different as well. From what I saw, the OEM bolts have a "cone" top, but it doesn't taper all the way until the thread, at a certain point it's "cut off" (very hard to explain without images...). These aftermarket bolts have a cone that tapers all the way (Like this).

Hence, the advice I can offer (if you're still looking for a set of bolts) is to bring them to a dodgy garage (not a MB dealer) and they may just be able to find aftermarket bolts in the size you need!

Hi guys i'm new to the website and i'm trying to locate one of these rear wheels as i cracked one of mine on a kerb in the ice this year. Numbers on inside of wheel rim are:
9Jx17H2

Made in Germany

They are definately not genuine merc

Only need the one and not even worried if its tatty just needs to be more wheel shaped than mine.

Many thanks in advance for any help.
