Hi All
My Anti-Virus is due for renewal and at the moment I am with Aviri Antivir Premium but it has let some nastys through in the past and there is no UK support as such, they have an email tech support but there is the time difference that caused me big problems.

It took them over a day to reply so I am looking for one with a UK support,I do not want anything to do with Norton I have Googled for a good reveiw on Anti-virus but there is a lot of conflicting replies from different so called experts.

So I am just hoping one of our members is using a GOODUN!:p

I'm far from expert but have been using AVG free for years without any probs. If you're willing to pay then the upgrade must surely be better still.

AVG Free/Avira and the likes are perfectly good if you want to consider the free options.

I personally pay a little more to have a hassle free single package solution. If you are looking for "paid for" anti-virus software then I definitely recommend Kaspersky.

This used to be a good forum but there are too many sarcastic comments from idiots now.

All I asked for was constructive information so another long time member will be leaving as lots more have been doing.

Don't bother to reply to this beacause I won't be looking I have better things to do with my time.:wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash:

Thanks nullogik for the sensible reply I have heard that Kaspersky is good so will probably go for it.

If you go onto Cnet.com there's a wealth of review of most popular free av software on there. I would also recommend using an anti malware checker at the same time, Malwarebytes is good and free, also available for download from cnet.

Sorry to hear you're leaving, I have to say, the atmosphere on this forum in the last six months has become somewhat tense.

+1 for AVG, used it for years at home and use it on my network at the office without any problems:)

I used Kaspersky for a while but it threw up alerts so often they got tiresome so I went back to AVG (paid for version).

1 warning and 1 infraction issued....

Play nice people.
