Big Thank You To Ian

Obviously not an AMG
But still my pride and joy since the bm

Previous owner had a few issues with badges and chrome bits but it's a work in progress to keep it tidy.

Thanks for looking.

Nice car; I had trouble with my 5 series and hard starting; was the fuel pump...then again 4 weeks later, in my case it was a bad sparky lead, replaced it, good as new.

Ian's a top man, he'll take care of you and your car.

She helps people when they cant cope with life and break down

Dear Claire,

I love my my Mercedes very much. In the short time we have been together she has never let me down. But I am embaressed to say I can't help but look at other Mercedes - mainly newer model SL's and today I saw a ML which I really wanted!

Does this make me a bad person?

Jay:rolleyes:

There is nothing wrong with looking, and thats as far as I get myself these days, the dreaming bit follows, if you get a chance to play with one, that will help to get it out of your system

Dear Jay,

You only live once. Sell your wife and your mother-in-law to a slave trader(*) and get that ML you want. Enjoy your mid life crisis, and once it's all out of your system, go and pick the wife up again. :D

It's the same sacrafice thats made when the other half steps in and see's her once available seat now has a 11lb bottle strapped to the centre of it.

And the once available rear seats for the kids now has two harnesses strapped diagonally down to it.

Although once you have played with it I feel it will only have added to the want and not removed it from our systems.

A bit like Ians porsche

Sort of leaves you thinking
Thats not practical for me
But I want one.:D

Thanks
Darrell

Oh yes I am too, just pop into the place nearest you and you can play with them all, you can smell them to if you are that way inclined

Got thrown out the last time I tried that.

*UPDATE*

Twas the head

However Ians been very helpful and It should be sorted soon!:bannana:

Can't wait.

It's like having no legs!
(And no head)

:D Thanks Ian:D
After 1000+ motorway trips in the last year on a daily basis I have incurred the following:

fuel pump dead (breakdown)
suspension all round
Bushes
£1000 + of tyres
clutch x3 (different cars)
And a head gasket.(breakdown)
And £550 of membership/towing and recovery costs

I used to beleive motorway driving was better for the car as it didn't hurt the lower gears.

 Now I am a disbeliever:devil:

Nice car Swann. IIRC this W202 was on ebay ? Looks like a nice motor just put some W210 facelift mirrors, OE rear lights and fix up the read badging.
