I wonder if i can throw it out there for discussion, purely as its driving me insane.
Last week my wife's ML (2006) developed a fault on the rear tailgate, it went into a Mercedes specialist who diagnosed a knackered SAM unit (they have full dealer diagnostics).
On changing this the boot works and all the other faults that related to the sam unit have now corrected themselves........................ but the rear lights dont work!!!!
Now a week later and files passed to Mercedes technical and back trying to sort out the errors in coding they are still not working
It is driving me insane
