black wood trim - polishing???

anyone get any recommendations to make the wood trim shine on my w210?

its "black" wood but the surface is dull - not as far as I can tell through being worn. Just needs the right polish..... anything "special" or just something wax based?

Try any wood polishing stuff, I ve got one in the boot of the car so i'll check the make, with bee wax or sth.

The wood has got a thick layer of laquar covering it . I would use standard car polish or wax . If the wood trim is market or scraped then use some fine sand paper frist then some compound .
