Blackfriars Tunnel London - Camera Alert

Those who use this route regularly will know the sheer amount of fixed cameras on this stretch. yesterday evening however, on the eastbound tunnel, where there is a fixed GATSO as you emerge, there were 4 or 5 of the boys in blue and one of them was pointing a mobile gun right far back down the tunnel. Everyone goes around 30-40 down these tunnels and I may have been "done" even though I slowed as per usual coming towards the end. So the message is be careful in these tunnels as they are trying new (for me anyway) tactics.

I also saw this about 3 weeks back...I was lucky I had my 5 series, so had the cruise set to around 30mph along Embankment as I knew the camera was up ahead. Saw an ML270 CDI and X5 3.0L fly past, slow for cameras...and then never regain their speeds, I saw why as I emerged; 1 ANPR van parked outside the tunnel's exit, and a copper pointing a laser speed gun down inside the tunnel.
