I went to see this.
Well worth seeing IMO. Long movie but IMO the pacing worked. It's intelligent. Flaws? Yes. There are minor glimpses of society as a background to the story but they feel like isolated and disjoint snapshots - leaving it feel like the world is an empty place when the implication from above is that it is actually overcrowded slum.
But $150 million to make? It really didn't need it. The story and core characters dominate it more than enough that excess money spent doesn't add that much value.
