A friend of mine is in the states at the moment... so thing of getting a cheap BT kit.

Any idea which bluetooth car kit is the best to buy? Will be fitting it to a 1999 W210.

Need something 'dad friendly' - really easy to use. Also something that won't make the car a target for theft.

Any recommends would be great.

Thanks

I use and like this one.

The SE kits work with all mobiles, Nokia's tend to only work properly with Nokia's.

Parrot are good too - and have a disply to show caller ID

Thanks! forgot to mention, need something easy to fit... was the SE kit easy to install?

I've got SE in mine and my wife's cars. Dead easy to fit it, and they work well. I'd recommend getting the "advanced music mute cable" because this routes the output through your stereo (regardless of whether it is turned on or off) and mutes the music if it's on. Saves you having to fit the kit speaker. The latest SE kit recognises 5 different phones (not at the same time)

I fit the parrot into the SLK and the Peugeot in about 1 hour - dead easy.
