Dads estate a W211 (2003 E-class estate) has the factory fitted phone kit in the arm rest.
My dad currently with orange and has a nokia 6310i that stays in the car as thats originally what the cable fits and then has a dual sim, one in his phone he carries round daily they both use the same number. This means when he uses the car he has all the contacts etc on his normal phone same number etc. Orange charge £5 for this a month.
Now he would like an iPhone and currently only with o2. He asked in two stores about the set up he currently has and the sales guys looked blank.
Then I mentioned a bluetooth reciever in the car would that not fit and then do away with the need for two phone, sims etc?
Is there such a thing? how much would this be? does it work with the steering controls etc.
