Any thoughts, anybody tried one? Seems like a better option that more wires!.....or is there a catch?

As ever, thanks in advance. :)

Don't know about bluetooth connector, but do you want to install it in your car ? If so Beklin do a charger, holder and fm transmitter for £69 in Curries, or there is a cheaper version without the holder.

Do you mean connecting an Ipod via Comand using the Bluetooth under System? Does Ipod have BT? Or would you have to connect a BT tranmitter to the Ipod? Sony's new walkman MP3 player has BT built in. Trouble is would the BT in Comand talk to either of them? If it would I would be buying the Sony asap....just dont want to buy it and find out that the BT in Comand is for transmitting only to headphones / earpiece and not receiving. So I too am very interested in this...:D

I have an Indianapolis pro which has bluetooth and can accept up to five connections. I use it at the mo just for my phone. I was thinking of getting the Becker iPod connector, which is about 80 squids plus installation. It occurred to me that one of the Bluetooth dongles for iPod (JVC and Sony both do them) would be a cheaper quicker plug and play option, but I don't know anyone who's done this, whether it works, or if it's a reasonable quality if it does.

Just had a phone call back from Sony saying that if Comand is A2BT compliant then is SHOULD connect -- but no guarantees...does anyone know if this is the case? Is Comand for a W203 facelift DVD A2BT compliant??:confused

Now I am confused -- someone else from Sony called saying it Comand has to be AVRCP compliant....so does anyone know if it is??

They must be referring to the BT A2DP profile, if I read the BT SIG documents correctly, this profile was first adopted at April 2007, a lot later than the first W203 Comand units were delivered.

AVRCP includes video capabilities, A2DP is only for stereo audio.
