Boot opening problem - W220
Have recently had a problem where the boot on my W220 2001 S-320 CDi fails to unlock/open.
It works normally with the button on the remote pressed down (pops boot open), and with the interior boot release button on the drivers door.
However, when the car is unlocked, the release button on the boot itself doesnt do anything, and there are no noises/sounds coming from it otherwise.
Im not sure what the problem is as there is nothing else wrong with the car.
Can someone give some advice on what could be the problem and any solution?
