Anyone know if option 810 is Bose on a W210 facelift?

It definetely is;
810 " LOUDSPEAKER, SOUND PACKAGE"
810 from 01.12.1986 SOUND PACKAGE (BOSE)

Do you know if the Bose system is a lot better than the normal system or is it like on some cars that all you get is some nice badges and the same system....

It is different; a big woofer at the back but not a huge difference

Bose kit on mine sounds stunning - nice sharp sounding system - and blinking loud with it - pre-facelift tho
