Bought myself an A45 AMG today

Maybe it was the fear of putting a powdered non-Newtonian fluid near his new pride and joy, or the inherent risk of putting fine powder near a source of ignition, or just that he's allergic to birds that put him off.

Are you feeling alright? :o

Huh?

Sp!ke was talking about the custard test. I was coming up with custard related excuses.

Well I wondered but I didn't think the pistonheads test was with powdered custard, then the birds bit threw me...

Is powdered custard not made by 'Birds' the brand??

Strange there's no pics?? Thought young vix would have wanted to share maybe I missed something in all the drivel spouted in this thread!!!!

Yeah at that age, the compulsion to prove us all wrong would have been overwhelming.

Really?

Maybe he thought other things were a tad more important...like earning some money and having a life...

Given his show-off attitude yeah, considering the theme here was doubt.

"earning some money and having a life" didn't get in the way when he was boasting initially did it? Now the typical 18 year old, with lots of old people doubting him given the chance to prove himself right, and most of us wrong, would have struggled to resist the urge to post a photo of it by now, with a tub of orange dust on the roof.

He probably doesn't give a toss what people on here think.

I suggest his posts in the thread indicate that he DOES give; several tosses, in fact. That probably makes him a tosser....

Don't know if anybody else spotted it (I'm reading this thread for the first time), but he stated at one point that his nearest dealer was MB Lakeside. I wouldn't have thought there were too many low insurance areas near there.

I think the whole thing has been a wind-up. I'm with i-Conica. The lack of pictures, with or without custard, rather confirms that opinion.

He'll be back, I suspect; probably with a Veyron next time....

Strange that you mention that, I have just myself a Buggati Veyron. Am only 22yrs old and am absolutely wedged! None of that is your business though, so ner ner ner ner! :D

My son is interested in the A45, especially from the perspective of someone closer to his age than most of the forum so I PM'd the OP yesterday to ask for any advice and insights he has on the car. Hopefully, he will post a response soon.
