Well, having kept up with engine upgrades on other forums I would say no but that is not from personal experience.
I'd suggest looking at Kleemann superchargers which give you a much better 'buck for a pound' and they don't have to bore out or change the engine components too much unlike Brabus.
www.kleemann.com or www.kleemann.de.
In the UK, the official importer for Kleemann is Oakley International in Kent. They are just getting ready to do chargers in house although they ship cars back to Germany with a weeks turn around a present.
www.oakleyltd.co.uk i think!
I had a go in a new CLK500K and the delivery of power was fantastically smooth. It had the new 5 litre V8 but with a charger taking it to 508hp <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='

Kleemann have a very good reputaion these days and have been featured in some of the mags recently.
If I had the cash I would go Kleemann for the whole set-up. Brakes, charger etc.
