2012-2015 Mercedes Benz SLK250 SLK350 Front Rear Red MGP Brake Caliper Covers | eBay

Has anyone used these or have any experience of them. I was considering buying them to cover the horrendous blobs of metal MB fit as calipers. My concerns are the price and the fitment ie as they're from the USA do their slks have the same calipers fitted as the European models. I have asked the company and of course they say they have but they haven't qualified that by giving references etc.
Any help greatly appreciated

They look neat but agree they are a bit pricey. After all they are only a cover.
You could always paint the ones you have. A lot cheaper only cost you the price of a tin of paint
Cheers

Yea but painting them will always look just that i.e. painted

I bought some caliper covers a few years ago and they were useless, didn't even fit properly, the covers you are buying may be OK but that was my experience of them. I ended up painting them and in my opinion they look just as good.

Depends on the cover obviously but these covers look the part and cover the poor looking rear calliper my issue really is are the callipers the same on US and Euro models

Not sure about the different models between the US and euro.
Hope it works out for you.

Just make sure you have sufficient clearance between calliper and your rims. On my S203 there was hardly room for a fag paper between them...

The finish is not the problem. It's the calliper shape and the fact that on the rear you can see part of the pad it just is horrendous and painting just highlights the view

Yea have researched all poss probs with clearance and fitting etc they actually supply a feeler gage to ensure clearance between bracket and disc/rotor
Thanks for reply

What's worse than tiny and ugly looking Mercedes calipers? It's the even uglier shaped red plastic covers that are so easy to tell from the real thing. Don't waste your money and get a set of brake discs and calipers off a bigger engined model. Starve if you have to, don't care.

Thanks everyone
