Ater two year of trouble free motoring I have my first problem with my SLK320. A few days ago the brake warning light came on. The brake fluid level was low. I thought it a bit strange as I do check it regularly. I topped up and again today the light came on. I then checked for leaks on the master cylinder, hoses etc but could not see anything. It was only with the help of a mate that we found the leak on one of the copper pipes that worms its way from the rear wheels, up behind the spare wheel compartment. A real difficult place to get too. Has anyone else had this problem and can you buy and fit new pipework? The routing looks really hard to get to and I am not sure if there is a joint under the plastic cover. Any info would be appreciated.
