Brake Pad Question

Hi,

This might be a bit of a dumb question, forgive me if so.

I purchased Front and Rear brake pads (TEXTAR ones to be precise) from ECP. They arrived today both sets look identical apart from one set having an arrow printed on them.

101221166 cost me £53 and 101221076 cost me £30.

Does anyone know what warrants such a difference in price between front and rear pads?

Fronts are a lot bigger?

If your rears are the same size as the fronts you've got the wrong pads.

They're the same shape, just smaller AFAIK on the W204 at least. I can't imagine it's different on the estate than saloon.
